Frank Farrelly (26.8.1931 - 10.2.2013) war ein US-amerikanischer Psychologe, emeritierter Psychologieprofessor und Begründer der Provokativen Therapie, die sich durch einen besonderen, humorvoll-provokativen Stil auszeichnet und die Einfluss auf viele andere Modelle der Persönlichkeitsentwicklung, wie z.B. das NLP, genommen hat. Er galt als einer der Urheber der Integration humorvoller klientenzentrierter Provokation in Beratungs-, Therapie- und Coaching-Kontexte und beschrieb seine Grundhaltung als die eines Advocatus Diaboli.
