Howard Gardner (geb. 11.7.1943) ist ein US-amerikanischer Erziehungswissenschaftler, Universitätsprofessor, Kreativitätsforscher und Buchautor; weltbekannt wurde er u.A. durch das von ihm entwickelte Konzept der "Multiplen Intelligenzen" und der Kreativen Intelligenz (letztere Begriffsbestimmung "teilt" er sich mit anderen Kreativitätsforschern, wie Buzan, Luther, Rowe).
